We are collaborating with Lee Merkhofer Consulting in Project Portfolio Optimization for airports.
The process for determining and planning airport resources is complex. Project Portfolio Optimization
is particularly suited for airport capital resource allocation due to the specific characteristics of airports that include a wide variety
of multifaceted issues.
The deliverable of Project Portfolio Optimization is a priority system that identifies which projects to fund. Accordingly, capital and operating budgets are optimized while incorporating all the relevant
strategic and tactical considerations.
The results of our Project Portfolio Optimization methodology have been phenomenal. The application of our priority system tool, named Capital Resource Optimizer, has enabled cost
cuts and/or increases in value of 20 to 40% in various industrial and governmental organizations, ranging from high-technology companies and healthcare providers to the U.S. Department of Energy
and state-level transportation infrastructure planning divisions.
