was a principal of CA Advisors, and led the technology practice of the firm as well as working with emerging
companies. We were profoundly saddened that Mr. Hashemi passed away suddenly in December 2016. He is tremendously missed.
Mr. Hashemi worked for a number of Silicon Valley technology companies, including 2Wire, Inc.,
8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT), ConsenSys Software Corporation, Lotus
Development Corporation, and Toolware House. He also served as Director of Technology of California Airlines, a regional start-up airline
based in San Jose.
Mr. Hashemi held a masters in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a bachelor, Magna Cum Laude, in Electrical Engineering, with minor
in Mathematics, from the University of Utah.
Mack was a devoted husband and father of three children. He and his family liveed in Cupertino, California. He was an
avid soccer player, and with his team competed in various tournaments. While not on
a soccer field, Mack could have been spotted on weekends skiing on the slopes of Lake Tahoe, or
beating his opponents in a game of chess.
